Join us, using your time, talent and treasure to help meet the needs of others…through service!

  • Our mission is to offer students in grades K-8 opportunities to put into action the teachings of Jesus to love & serve one another.
  • Service can be as simple as making bookmarks to accompany the books collected for Hasbro Children's Hospital or as involved as making lunches for the needy at Sandwich Club.
  • Service projects will be listed here as they become available. Some projects will be limited to the number of student volunteers we can take.
  • Jr. SM generally meets once a month.
  • Service hours are granted to middle school students.
  • Parent permission slips are required to participate.

 Sandwich Club

    • Students assemble 200 or more sandwiches and bag food items which will be distributed by Mobile Loaves & Fishes to our neighbors in need without shelter.
    • Sandwich Club meets generally the 1st Friday of every month in the church basement.  If you would like to participate, you will find monthly reminders in The Link to sign up.
    • If you are interested in sponsoring part or all of this event in memory or honor of someone, please contact Cindy Osmanski at ozzy12@cox.net.

Blankets for Project Linus

  • The quilts provide security, warmth and love to our local young children in need.  Blankets will be distributed by the RI Chapter to children in crisis and in need of a “blanket hug” as is said at Project Linus.

More information about Project Linus can be found on their local website, www.projectlinus.org/volunteer/?StateKey=RI or on their national website, www.projectlinus.org/.
