St. Luke’s School
In an effort to be green, the majority of our communications come via e-mail or as we call them at St. Luke’s: “e-blasts”. The two e-mail addresses used are from our principal Mrs. Patricia Bartel email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. Both e-mail addresses are gmail accounts so please be sure to check your e-mail settings and confirm that gmail addresses are accepted into your in-box. This has been a problem in the past.
Our principal, Mrs. Bartel will send out a weekly newsletter. PTO Newsletters will be sent as needed.
When providing an e-mail address (or addresses) please be sure it is an easily accessible e-mail address as we sometimes send reminders out on the weekends.
Lower and upper school classes are paired together for various activities throughout the year, including sitting together at First Friday masses. Each kindergartener is paired with a Gr. 4 student, Gr. 5 with Gr.1 and so on.
Dress Down Days:
Dress Down Days “usually” occur on the first Monday of the month. However, that is not always the case and will be noted on the school calendar. If your child would like to participate, the cost for “dressing down” is $5 per student. The money raised each month will be divided equally between the PTO and a specifically chosen charity each month.
Freshly popped popcorn is sold once per month during all lunch periods. The cost is .25¢ per bag and is usually sold on the first Wednesday of the month. It will be noted on the calendar.
School masses are usually held on the first Friday of every month (check the calendar for any changes). All are welcome to attend. Mrs. Furtado and her third grade students serve as our school choir.
