Mrs. Norma Malachowski
B.A. Psychology with concentration in Human Services, Framingham State College
M.A.T. Elementary Education, Rhode Island College
Mrs. Malachowski is a lifelong learner who continues to find innovative ways to deliver lessons. She teaches Language Arts in the middle school and is the school librarian. After a few years in human services, Mrs. Malachowski worked in marketing and customer service for nearly 20 years. She has taught in Catholic schools within the Diocese of Providence for many years.
Mrs. Malachowski resides in Warwick with her husband, Joseph. They have two children, Rebecca and Matthew. They recently adopted a rescue lab named Rocco.
Besides a passion for reading, she enjoys hockey (her favorite teams are the Bruins and whichever team her cousin Peter is coaching), hiking, kayaking, gardening, camping and being with family.
When not in the classroom, Mrs. Malachowskiis the Chairperson for the Catholic Committee on Scouting, president of her parish council, lector, and extraordinary minister of the Eucharist at her parish (St. Francis of Assisi, Warwick), a trainer and leader for the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England, and a very proud member of the Blue Star Moms.
