    Bethany Furtado, the 3rd grade teacher at St. Luke’s School, has been a teacher since 2000.  Bethany is an alumnus of St. Luke’s School.  She and her husband attend St. Luke’s Church.

    Bethany was the organist/soloist at St. Jean’s Church in Warren, RI for 35 years where she held the position of President of the Liturgical Committee.  She served as Catholic Charity Chairperson for the Diocese of Providence for their 2008-2009 campaign. 

    She has attended numerous educational and religious conferences over the years.  She currently heads the grade 3 children's choir.  They perform at monthly school masses. 

    Bethany and her husband have two children, Linsday (SLS ’96) and Jeffrey (SLS ’98) and two grandchildren, Caroline and Emily.

    Bethany enjoys gardening, golfing, reading, and spending time with her family.
