• HEALTH EDUCATION CURRICULUM PHILOSOPHY

Health education at St. Luke’s School is committed to the development of each student’s emotional, physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being through a sequence of developmentally appropriate educational programs, experiences, and materials.  Nurtured by Christian values, students have the opportunity to gain the information and skills needed to become health literate, maintain and/or improve health, prevent disease, and reduce health-related risk behaviors. Health education strives to foster in students the desire to maintain a healthy well-being throughout their lifetime.
