The Drama Club provides an opportunity for students in grades 3-8 to express their talents in a creative program that aims to teach students the value of collaboration, dedication, and perseverance through theater games, improvisation, pantomime, scene study, and character building.
Group Piano Lessons
Group piano lessons are offered to students in preschool-grade 2 after school on Tuesdays through Music-Dance Education. Music instructor Ms. Rondae Dafts uses Beethoven Bear & Mozart the Mouse to teach classical musical concepts. Students learn to read music and are introduced to music theory in a cheerful, energetic, bubbly, fun environment. Lessons are taught in 6 week blocks.
Under the direction of Catherine Gagnon of the Paul Effman Music Service, band is offered to students in grades 3-8 on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Students are grouped by instrument (violin, saxophone, trumpet, flute, clarinet, and drums) and level of performance. The program consists of weekly 30 minute group lessons.
