Middle School students are introduced to a departmentalized educational structure in which each academic discipline is taught by a subject-area specialist.  We are proud to have a dedicated middle school team that is committed to the unique needs of young adolescents.  The middle school setting fully supports spiritual, social, emotional, and academic development through meaningful experiences, an effective advisory program, community service and outreach opportunities, extra-curricular activities, and numerous opportunities for our students to effectively serve as Christian leaders in the classroom and beyond.

Most important is the teaching of the Catholic faith.  At this level we emphasize the practicality and applicability of Roman Catholic faith and tradition to the students' lives.  We continue to strengthen their faith development while exploring issues of morality, core values, and social responsibility.

At St. Luke's School our curriculum is challenging, integrative and exploratory.  We value assessment and evaluation practices that promote learning.  Learning at the middle school level is both exciting and challenging.  Our students succeed at St. Luke's and beyond because of the shared vision of our learning community and the safe, caring environment that is provided.  Our students are respectful, courteous and cordial.  They are encouraged to develop in a supportive atmosphere that appreciates individualism.
