Volunteer Work & Service Learning
It has been a long standing tradition at St. Luke's School for our students to give back to the community. We are proud of the work they have done and their efforts to assist others. Last year our middle school students provided over 500 hours of community service for various organizations including the Carmelite Monestary, Save the Bay, Warren Animal Shelter, St. Luke's Church, St. Patrick's Church, Beyond Our Walls and Tap In, as well as area athletic organizations, libraries, and soup kitchens. Our students helped the poor, ran clothing drives, collected books for hospitals, sorted goods for food pantries, and raised money for missionaries. In addition, our students hold monthly dress down days to help raise money and awareness for various local community organizations including Mobile Loaves and Fishes ministry, St. Vincent De Paul Society, RI Food Bank, Jean Jugan Residence, Friend's Way, Young at Heart, and Project Gabriel.
