St. Luke's School - Parent-Teacher Organization
The St. Luke’s School Parent Teacher Organization is excited to share the school year with you and your children! The PTO aims to provide our parents with many different opportunities to be involved in school life and build a happy, strong community of families.
As a parent or guardian, you are automatically a member of the PTO and are invited to all PTO meetings, as well as a wide variety of school events, which build our wonderful community. We welcome you and encourage you to volunteer your talents to one or more of our PTO activities.

DRESS DOWN DAYS FOR CHARITY
Dress Down days are Monthly, and the students are allowed to wear school appropriate dress down clothes. Half of all proceeds will be donated to a chosen charity of the month. The cost is $5 per child/$10 maximum per family.
DATES for 2018-2019:
September 24th - for Mobile Loaves and Fishes, chosen by Preschool
October 29th - East Bay Food Pantry, chosen by Kindergarten
November 26th - Brittany's Hope, chosen by 1st Grade
December 17th - Charity to be defined, chosen by 2nd Grade
January 14th - Charity to be defined, chosen by 3rd Grade
February 25th - Make a Wish, chosen by 4th Grade
March 25th - Friends Way, chosen by 5th Grade
April 29th - St. Anne's, chosen by 6th Grade
May 20th - Charity to be defined, chosen by 7th Grade
June Dress Down Day - Date to be determined, chosen by 8th Grade

Thanks for all you do to support SLS!.LUNCH DUTY If your schedule allows it, please consider volunteering for lunch duty. Consider doing it with a friend to make it easier. You can do it once a month, once a week, the first Monday of every month, etc. It's up to you. Just let the lunch duty coordinator know what your availability is and she'll put you on the schedule.Please contact Paula Soares: firstname.lastname@example.orgBOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION: SEND IN YOUR BOX TOPS!Because of your diligence, SLS was able to raise just over $1,000 last school year!!! For those that don't know, Box Tops can be found on various supermarket products and can be cut out and sent into school. This is an easy way to generate money for our school! SLS receives 5 cents for every box top submitted and are submitted for reimbursement twice per year - once in the Fall and once in the Spring.
Put all your clipped box tops in a zip lock and drop them off at the school office or send them in your child's backpack. The box tops bin is located on the first floor near the center staircase. The kids love to fill the bin!Program Dates: October – March
The Stop & Shop A+ Program is an easy way to raise funds for St Luke’s School. After you register your card, each shopping trip earns CASH for our school!
