St. Luke's SchoolParent-Teacher Organization
The St. Luke’s School Parent Teacher Organization is excited to begin a new school year with you and your children! The PTO aims to provide our parents with many different opportunities to be involved in school life and build a happy, strong community of families.
As a parent or guardian, you are automatically a member of the PTO and are invited to all PTO meetings, as well as a wide variety of school events, which build our wonderful community. We welcome you and encourage you to volunteer your talents to one or more of our PTO activities.
Please contact the PTO at email@example.com with any questions or suggestions. Thank you and welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!
The annual SLS Christmas Pageant will be held on Thursday, December 14th. The morning dress rehearsal is at 10:00 am (all are welcome to attend) and the evening performance will begin promptly at 6:30pm (ticket holders only please). The PTO will be selling whole item and individual baked goods at both performances in addition to our famous 50/50 Candy Cane Raffle (previous winners have won over $400!).
As always, all proceeds will help to reduce the cost of the 8th grade retreat in New Hampshire. This beautiful, spiritual event will take place over 3 days in May and is extremely costly so we appreciate your support!
JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!!!! St. Luke's School is an eligible charity on AmazonSmile! If you love to shop through the convenience of Amazon, now SLS can benefit. When you shop AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organizations selected by customers.
Before you shop, please be sure to visit smile.amazon.com. When you choose your charity, please note that we are listed as St. Luke's Church in West Barrington, but SLS is the beneficiary of all purchases made.
We appreciate your support. This is yet another easy, painless way to raise funds for our school so that the PTO can continue to help fund field trips and sponsor wonderful events like Boston Museum of Science, Harvest Fest and much more!
If you have any questions or need any help signing up, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll walk you through it.
Thanks for all you do to support SLS!.

As always, 50% of the proceeds will go to the PTO toward enrichment programs for the school and the other half went to this month's charity, the East Bay Food Pantry.
The next dress down day of the year will be on Monday, December 18, 2017. The cost is $5 per child/$10 maximum per family. More details on next month's charity are coming soon.
16 children and 4 adults attended Sandwich Club Friday, December 1st in honor of Kaeleen Hennessey's Grandpa (Gr. 4). 200 sandwiches were made for our neighbors in need without shelter & will be distributed by Loaves & Fishes this weekend in the Providence area.
A heart-felt thanks to the Pre-schoolers who assembled 200 bags of candy! And a big thanks to Fr. Bob for always taking the time to speak with the Sandwich Club about service and provide a blessing over the sandwiches, for those who will receive them & also for all in attendance!

For those that don't know, Box Tops can be found on various supermarket products and can be cut out and sent into school. This is an easy way to generate money for our school! SLS receives 5 cents for every box top submitted and are submitted for reimbursement twice per year - once in the Fall and once in the Spring.
Put all your clipped box tops in a zip lock and drop them off at the school office or send them in your child's backpack. The box tops bin is located on the first floor near the center staircase. The kids love to fill the bin!Last Year’s Earnings: $1,452.40Program Dates: October – March
The Stop & Shop A+ Program is an easy way to raise funds for St Luke’s School. After you register your card, each shopping trip earns CASH for our school!
Even if you registered your card last year, you must re-register this year for our school to receive credit. Attending to this simple process makes a HUGE difference to our school. If you have any questions or input, please contact email@example.com
